What Tack?
What is your favourite piece of tack or equipment?
I have many pieces of equipment that I use in my day to day routine on the yard, but they all have to be good quality, having the right gear can make a big difference to the results you accomplish.
My favourite piece has to be a French link full cheek fulmer bit, usually 4.5 inches in size as most Arabian horses are very fine featured and have a small mouth. I have various sizes to suit all horses and the majority of my bridles have this type of bit.
What is your favourite piece of tack/ equipment you cannot do without?
oooh my wintec isobel saddle - love it - pity I can’t seem to find a saddle that I like as much for showing
Happy mouth french link fulmer, my arab gelding seems very happy in it & arabian saddle company sylan saddle xwide!
Although I have always used a french link, I would like to nominate my treeless saddle. Its comfy for both of us, you can feel all muscles working through it so is fab for schooling, no restuffing needed because your horse has changed weight (and that made a huge difference to my ultra sensitive mare!)
